A man in Peru who has spent his life teaching dogs to surf he has now taught an Alpaca to surf! As you can imagine Alpaca’s don’t have the best sea legs but it gives it a good try.

The goblin shark, Mitsukurina owstoni, is a deep-sea shark, the sole living species in the family Mitsukurinidae. The most distinctive characteristic of the goblin shark is the unorthodox shape of its head. It has a long, trowel-shaped, beak-like rostrum or snout, much longer than other sharks’ snouts.
Some other distinguishing characteristics of the shark are the color of its body, which is mostly pink, and its long, protrusible jaws not to dissimilar to Ridley Scott’s Alien.

The thing that impresses me most about this video is the effort that has gone into firstly catching all of those snails, and secondly putting individual LED’s on each snail.
Currently under construction just of the coast of Cancun is the worlds first underwater museum. Designed to be environmentally friendly and play host to 750,000 tourists yearly it will open in 2011.
This one is for all you adrenaline junkies out there… I’ve heard of swimming with sharks but never swimming with crocodiles until now. If you dare you can go to Darwin’s newest crocodile park and play out your own personal crocodile dundee fantasy.

I think the artist was going for shock value with these sculptures. I wouldn’t say these artworks are that shocking but they are down right strange. The mixture of human faces and animal bodies is definitely a little unnerving.
This made me laugh, from how to capture a panda to “How to make Panda Stack-Ups” . Don’t worry, before you go running off to PETA, it is done in a very tongue in cheek manner and is just a bit of fun!
When we started this blog I said that I would not be one of those people who blogs about funny cats, but when I saw this picture I just cracked up! Please forgive me for my minor funny cat moment… it won’t happen again.
