1994 "What is the Internet, Anyway?"

1994 “What is the Internet, Anyway?”

Some confusion is obvious on the set of NBC’s “Today” show, regarding the Internet and the @-sign. This is reportedly footage from between segments that was not originally aired, and apparently dates to January 1994.

madballs

Nostalgia Time: Madballs !!

Madballs were a series of awesome toy rubber balls released in the mid-1980s. The toys incorporated gross-out humor in the vein of Wacky Packages and Garbage Pail Kids. Each ball had a character synopsis and a strange but totally awesome name such as:

Screamin Meemie, Slobulus, Aargh, Hornhead, Dustbrain, Oculus Orbus and Crack Head.

The toyline was later turned into a short-lived animated television series, a movie, a series of comics and a video game (which contained some elements from the cartoon) for the ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC and Commodore 64. Pics after the jump….
